2001 Riesling Auslese trocken, Ahr, Germany

Fine herbal-spicy and mineral citrus scent with notes of honeydew melon and flowers. Clear, fine-juicy fruit, green herbal aromas, very well integrated acidity, not quite dry, medium body, some fat on the palate, mineral in the background, has substance and structure, persistent, good length. Very careful work.
