2016 Silvaner trocken GSKR Stahl, Fass 500, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Tart nose, dried vegetal notes, hint of tobacco, light earthy and mineral notes, hint of mushrooms, restrained yellow fruit, touch of juniper. Full-bodied, firm and dry on the palate, tart fruit, nutty, slightly smoky oak, hint of tar and some more juniper, vegetal and herbaceous traces, earthy and light salty mineral notes, elegant, lively acidity, fairly compact structure, not particularly deep, hint of tobacco and ashes, has grip and bite on a very good, fairly firm, slightly creamy finish.
