Editor note: Cool nose, light vegetal, herbaceous and floral notes, elegant, light yellow fruit, mineral traces. Ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, floral and vegetal aromas, touch of red berries, still has some yeasty traces, lively, elegant acidity, hint of carbon dioxide, light tannic touch, good persistence, delicately sweetish and creamy, lively, nutty and yeasty traces on a good to very good, fairly tart, slightly warm and tannic finish.
Best to drink: To 2022+

Editor note: Hint of bacon on the nose, vegetal, earthy and mineral notes, yellow fruit, nutty nots, herbs, moss and a hint of tobacco. Ripe, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, herbaceous and nutty notes, delicate hint of tobacco, hint of bacon and yellow spice, elegant, lkively acidity, touch of carbon dioxide, elegant tannic grip, hint of dark berries, mustard seed and floral traces in the background, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, slightly astringent on a good to very good juicy finish.

The German growing area Franconia was formerly in the three areas Maindreieck, Mainviereck and Steigerwald structured with 23 major layers and 216 individual layers. In November 2011, a new regulation was adopted by the members of the Franconian Winegrowing Association. The three old areas are replaced by 12 much smaller ones. In the medium to long term, these will also replace the 23 major locations. The old areas once played a role in the predominant marketing of Franconian table wine, which they had lost for some time. Before this conversion, the following description applies to the area Maindreieck:
