The wines keep constant high level and are usually the best in their respective category in the area. Weaknesses, there is little, but can occur in difficult vintages. However, this must be balanced in good years with particularly compelling assortments so that an operation can hold the status. In most cases you can blindly buy.

The winery is located in the municipality of Kleinhöflein near the Burgenland capital Eisenstadt in the DAC area Leithaberg (Austria). The family has been wine-growing for five generations. Rudolf Kaiser was cellar master in the winery for many years Esterházy in Eisenstadt before taking over the business from his father in 1997. The wine cellar, dating from the 14th century, was rebuilt according to the latest requirements and opened in 1999. The vineyards cover 24 hectares of vineyards on the slopes of the Leitha Mountains. They are planted 80% with the red varieties Blaufränkisch , Zweigelt, Blauburgunder, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz, and 20% with the white varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Welschriesling and Muskat-Ottonel. Grapes are purchased from contract winemakers from another ten hectares.

Barrels made from local chestnut wood have also been used since the early 1990s. Most of them are made from American and French oak. The flagship is the red wine cuvée "Tenno" made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch , Zweigelt and Merlot, which is aged in 100% new barriques. The name was given in memory of Kaiser senior, who once worked as a cellar master on a mission in Japan and produced a wine that was highly valued by the Japanese emperor (Tenno). Other premium wines are Pinot Noir, Blaufränkisch and Chardonnay. Sweet wines are also produced in suitable years. Around 10% is exported to Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. Fine brandies and grape juice are also produced.
