2006 trocken Tenno, Burgenland, Austria

Tart, slightly smoky nose, preserved bell peppers, preserved black berries and some cherries, earthy notes. Clear, juicy dark fruit on the palate, prominent roasted notes, vegetal as well as earthy and mineral notes, elegant acidity, quite fine tannins, predominantly mature, but partly also slightly astringent, good persistence, very lively, more notes of marinated bell peppers, fairly cool style, very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2017+. What our ratings mean
