2017 Blauer Zweigelt Reserve trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Slightly planty and slightly bacon-like scent of red and black and cherries with toasty notes and floral and tobacco nuances. Tart, ripe, relatively dark fruit, toasty and a little smoky to slightly specky wood, some acid bite, present tannin, good substance and persistence, a little chocolate in the background, delicate bitter, salty mineral notes, good to very good, quite firm finish
