2012 Veronese IGT Corvina Cresasso, Veneto, Italy

Light spicy oak and a hint of tobacco on the nose, ripe, partly dried black berries, hint of coffee and cocoa. Full-bodied on the palate, sweetish, partly preserved and dried fruit, integrated sandy, slightly astringent tannins, oak, earthy notes, hint of tobacco, noticeable warm alcohol, hint of cocoa in the background, good finish.
